  Varsity Football Head Coach - Fall 2026 Season
  
  This position is responsible for coaching and providing direction to student-athletes so they might achieve a high level of skill as well as an appreciation for self-discipline, sportsmanship and teamwork in the sport of Football.
  
  Quality candidates should:

  • Have a plan/process for supporting student-athletes with academics
  • Possess the knowledge to teach basic and advanced techniques of Football
  • Be a strong communicator with: the coaching staff, school, parents, athletes, athletic trainer, and athletic director
  • Work with our athletic trainer to ensure the health and well being of our student-athletes
  • Have the ability to plan and organize year-round training
    • Strength, agility, and technical skills
  • Detailed planning of practices and team events
  • Coordinating with the Girls Ice Hockey Booster Club and other organizations
  • Follow NHIAA, NFHS, and GWRSD policies and procedures 

  Varsity Head Coaches at Kingswood are responsible for overseeing the program: varsity, JV, Freshmen/Reserve, and the middle school teams. Coaches are expected to work with local youth programs as well. 

  At least three years of successful High School level coaching experience is needed. Playing experience at the collegiate level is preferred.

• Franklin High School

  Franklin-Winni Football Coaches Openings:

  The Franklin–Winnisquam Cooperative Football Program is seeking motivated and dedicated individuals to fill the following stipend positions: Varsity Head Coach, Junior Varsity Head Coach, two Varsity Assistant Coaches, Middle School Head Coach, and Middle School Assistant Coach.

  These newly established cooperative programs will serve approximately 40–50 student-athletes on each team, with the high school team competing in Division III of the New Hampshire Interscholastic Athletic Association (NHIAA).

  Head coaches, in collaboration with their assistant coaches, will be responsible for planning and conducting practices, coaching games, and supporting the overall development of student-athletes in alignment with the values and expectations of the Franklin and Winnisquam athletic programs. The positions emphasize skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, school pride, and preparation of athletes aspiring to compete for the Franklin–Winni High School Golden Bears and the Franklin–Winni Middle School Howling Hurricanes.

  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Organizing and leading daily practices and game preparation
  • Fostering a positive, inclusive, and educational team environment
  • Collaborating with sub-varsity and middle school programs, assistant coaches, and the athletic department
  • Upholding all school, district, and NHIAA policies and expectations
